I think that if you have an engine with the updated parts (carb body and hsn holder), you could try it with your original clutch (well at least with a stiff spring). I know that some people use their original clutch parts and are happy with them. The CRF parts are just better as they transfer the power more efficiently and last longer

Here is my WASP setup
Remove 0.1mm shim from the head
Use No 6 CRF plug.
CRF clutch with 2 inserts in each shoe
1mm gap
Red Kyosho clutch shoe
The motor should run around 245 deg F
Cheers

Is that with std CRF or the Murnan

I believe there are currently three .12 WASP Rev CRFs.
1. Original
2. Cyrul Spec (CRF with updated carb parts, which has superseded the original)
3. Murnan Modified

If the high speed needle is above the edge of the holder then you probably have an original engine.

Hmm... Thanks!
I have the original engine. Where can I get the new parts of the carburator ? Do you know any online shopping that has his updated carburator?
Thanks
