We've been working on our setups at Jackson R/C and he hit it last week during practice. As I migrated to his setup, with my own little changes, the car was dialed. Larry's car was better on cooler track temps, mine was better on warmer temps. Larry, thanks again man.

In both Stock and 19t, I TQed and Won. Larry finished 2nd in both as well. A Losi sweep for this weekend.

I will say this.. Last year at the Express race '06, I ran a T2 (obviously before running for Losi). I had an awesome setup on that car and didn't think I could have a "better" car than that. Boy was I wrong. The Type R was soo smooth and holy steering.

As for the setup... if we only had an editable PDF. I'll work on posting it tomorrow. I'll bet money, that when people see the setup, they'll have this face...
Good Job guys! Way to bring it home!!!

My car was awesome this weekend too. Best car I have ever driven on asphalt hands down. Schreff and I will have our setups on in the next day or 2. Tq paid off for Schreff he had clean starts in both mains and drove clean and earned the win.

I tried to find it but couldn't. I googled and found this after a while. It says JRXS, but is this what I'd want for the Type R?

I'll keep looking for the posts about it, as I'd like to know what people have to say about it.

Try PRS directly... here. IT's the only modification you will probably make to either JRXSs produced.

Awesome that's the site I was just at. Ordered the setup plus a 118, 126, and extra 128 spur. Also, I was just looking at the motor mounting on the Type R and was thinking that if you unmounted the motor, and took off the pinion, and then unscrew the three motor screws that hold the endbell on, you could probably slide it all apart that way and just lift the heatsink out. I ordered one today, so I think I'll try it that way before I take the whole mount out. It'll be really nice if it'll work out. A lot of effort, but still a little less than taking the rear end all apart I would think.

Congrats. Hopefully the same can happen out here next weekend in mod (mw) and my boy Russ (19) Curious to see your set up.

Jason--Your right!!! I was looking at the set-up and I had the look! LOL

The front looks cool but it looks like you started with the kit rear set-up and then busted your but trying to get it to rotate? Then I'm guessing it was rotating a bit too much off the corner so you added the anti squat to help hook it up?? Am I close? The reason I ask is that for me it was better to just go with the high rear roll center and tune it from there. Thoughts?

Hey Jason, is it safe to assume you were using 0 degree rear hubs since it is not indicated on your sheet? I see you have the stock 4 degree up front and just assume you have the stock 0 degree in the back.
