Went to a Automotive Swap Meet the other day and picked up a unknown nitro buggy/truck. Its got Pirate labeled on the front and rear diff. Did not come with body, it does have a 3.5cc engine with pipe. And its got a wing bracket that looks to be factory. Its all complete besides a AM transmitter. Its pretty heavy, thinks its a steel chassis. The seller said it was a OFNA Pirate Buggy, but ive looked on the net and i can only come up witha a Pirate Monster Truck. If it is a Pirate Buggy, were can i buy replacement parts if anything breaks? And does anybody know any history on these cars? (Year produced, etc.).

Also, i try to roll it on the ground, and its REALLY hard to! It rolls, but you have to push really hard. You think its the diff oils? If so, what should i put in it?

I think i got one at my shop a HoBao pirate, they come with a .21 size motor! Is the motor mounted east/west like an on road car? This one has a red alloy top and bottom deck!

It does look like it, but its not a truck. Mine also has a wing bracket on the back. Also, mine doesnt have anything anodized on it. Ill have pics up 2nite.
