Anyone try these motors out and where to get them in the states?

I currently run an older V2 version of this motor in my ET410 with a 5.5T, I've swapped this motor out between 3 cars over the years, very dependable. I got mine from Banggood but I believe RCJuice is re-branding them under the HobbyStar label... not sure who has the V4 motors yet, maybe check Alibaba.

I've seen them for sale on both Banggood and Aliexpress. Banggood had the full range but Aliexpress only had the mod motors. Aliexpress are cheaper too for some reason

keen to hear how it goes. I'm in the market for a new 17.5T for blinky racing and if these are good then will give it a go, half the price of the Orca Blitreme I recently bought

doesn't look like the rotors are as strong as the top dog off road 17.5's. do they sell high torque rotors for it?

honestly hard to tell. I looked a bit yesterday and I see rotor options out there but nothing that definitely said "X rotor is high torque for the V4S".

Apparently Surpass is an OEM who also manufactures other brands' motors, so getting another rotor should not be too difficult. According to Nick Adams' test video on youtube, the 17.5 is a really good motor. Nick reviews many BRCA legal batteries and stock motors and provides solid numbers.
