Guys, My micro RS4 ran quite well yesturday in PYC..with the graphite plates a little tail happy but very manageable. It ran better in the afternoon when the sun was out.
I found one thing with those pushed-on wheels though... if you are running the M3 shell like me, no matter what wide tracks you have set the car, since it sticks out of the shell, don't roll over or crash! it will push those wheel back to the narrowest widths At one stage I had the rear left and right running different width without knowing!

I was wondering what is the different between threaded shocks and aluminium shocks.
What difference do they make?
I was going to get a set of threaded shocks, is there a specific brand that is better?
Or maybe I'll just keep my Tamiya super lowfriction shocks???
Thanks for the help guys!!

M5: thread shocks, aluminium shock, tamiya "low friction" shocks are all the same...just that thread shocks have a more fine tunning for preloades. the others you just need to add spacers! the low friction shocks you have there is just fine!
i vote for MR4TC of course!
TS: why dont you get some receivers from your shop instead of asking others...hehehhe

M5- Here is what I posted on another forum... that gives my opinion on threaded shocks!
Actually I find the advantage with threaded shocks are not so much with the fine adjustment... its with setting the initial tweak out of the car.
I normally set the approx. ride height of the car and then put it on a tweak station. The threaded shocks really comes into it elements for adjusting tweak.... true you can use spacers as well but it is a lot easier with threaded shocks. After setting the tweak out of the car, you can mark the adjuster part with a pen and then just count the revolutions (or part of) when you want to adjust pre-load/ride height. Of course it is a "nice to have" and not essential....... but isn't so many other things the same with our cars!
