Hi

I ran the V16 on the weekend but struggled to find a good or reasonable gearing and the motor was getting seriously warm after the 5min run

I am running 13.5 Blinky on ETS carpet tracks one quite flowing and the other technical

Any idea on a gearing starting point

Try 50 timing and an FDR between 4.2-4.4.

What is "seriously warm"? Anything 160F and lower is totally fine
