Wheel Wobble

Wheel Wobble
Notice over weekend one of the rear wheels has a pretty severe wobble at top end.
I checked the nut that holds the wheel on and its super tight, there is a slight play in the wheel, hub feels secure. I cant work out what is causing this wobble and more important how to fix it.
Any idea?

It's not jsut the tyre is it? I know on my Hyper 7 RTR the wheels look a bit wonky... but it's actualy jsut the fact that the pre glued wheels aren't actualyl glued straight onto the rims... My guess is at high speed the wheels bulge up and the wonkyness is far more noticable.
I'm totally new to RC though so don't take my word for it !!

I am new to this as well but its always helpful to get some ideas on what it could be, I didnt think of that myself.
The first thing that came to mind was maybe the padding or whatever is inside under the tyre is unbalance, but I put it on a pole and its pretty close, almost perfect actually.
Do your wheels have a bit of play when mounted to the hub?
I currently dont have any oil in rear shocks (the leaked out) and waiting for supplier to send me 2 new ones so I stick to the smooth stuff for now. It might have something to do with that but its only one side doing it, and both rear shocks are without fluid.

2. Check bead maybe glue job is coming undone and at speed wobbles.
3. If you mounted the tires did you trim the inserts if they weren't fitted.
I neglected to do this once and my tires developed a severe wobble because the foams bunched because they weren't trimmed and they bunched up when I mounted them.
4. Maybe bearing gone bad? Any noise to your wobble?
Just some guesses to check on hard to troubleshoot on a forum.

It was a RTR kit so tyres already mounted, touching them it is a little lumpy but I dont thinks its this.
No bearing noise at all, do you think I should give it a spray with WD40 just to be on safe side?

The lumpiness is probably your foams and that will cause your tires to wobble.

Your tires are out of balance. RTR tires especially are offbalance from the factory, even high quality AKA tires need to be balanced a little. If you arent racing you wont need to balance them.

Bashing Or racing...you car will thank you for balanced wheel's....a Wobbly wheel will beat on the bearing's and bone's way worse then a Balanced wheel....the fact your wheel wobbles when you give it gas in the air....think of what it's doing at 30K Over and Over and Over and Over....balancing is easy if you have a grasp of what your doing.
