Jeff, Thanks. you are right. Priority is actually just like 4 dollars less. Parcel post is cheaper, but we don't ship with that service as it has no tracking, so it really offers no protection to sellers or buyers. EMS is not terrible though, Should be around $48.00.

That question is a bit hard to answer seeing as to no one has one yet. Your best bet is to contact spec-r directly to find out the weight of the car. Then you can take your individual items and weigh them, as they all vary based on wire length, type, body paint, tires, etc.

Should the car be under 1400 g ready to run? Now that is a more reasonable question and the answer is probably.

Does anyone have any info on what grade of aluminum is used on the car? Is it a 7075 series like most other manufacturers are using these days?

I'd say it's a good quality Alloy, Spec-R has never made bad alu parts before to my knowledge.

But of course being an early adopter has bit me in the rear more than a few times ( LG Blu-ray, LG android phone, pretty much anything that is new tech from Lg :-) But I have high hopes, looking at it I can see pretty good quality overall and a lot of thoughtfulness in the design and build so I think it'll be some good stuff!. If not I hope the Kyosho TF6 parts are a direct fit, would be awesome!

The car and parts look very good. The quality is nice from what I can tell. The chassis looks nice, good cuts, clean edges.

I will probably build one over the weekend to give my impressions of fit and finish.

As I work through the bags, inspect the materials, details and quality I can say I am super impressed. This car could very well be a game changer. And for the price nothing will compare. Good job Spec-R!
