If thats the stock motor...
It does wheelies.
Definitly needs oil dampers... Just because.
Well, maybe because nothing has had friction dampers since the dark ages. It might be really interesting building a damper that small however.

I'm sure there will be a large aftermarket for these trucks but, and just like I said with the Mini-T, it will be fun to drive out of the box and that's the exact intention.

I'm not sure how the wheels are held on, haha.
jeff - I think that's the biggest appeal of this truck. Now you can set up a track pretty much anywhere!

I'm pretty sure it's a 130?
I really don't think there will be any reason to run a different motor. Tiny closed endbell brushed motors seem to run very well regardless of "wear", and I think this little truck will be plenty fast out of the box to keep us all happy.

mod class- Atomic z2, hands down. It's incredible and propels my mini-z in big track guise to (approaching) 30 mph
stock class- PN Racing speedy 05 ball bearing can, with PN neo magnets and Kyosho X-Speed armature
The biggest thing is what kind of draw the ESC can handle on that lil thing. I know on a Kyosho Mini-z, there is a very solid line where the stock fets will eat themselves. Typically, Mini-z racers upgrade the fets to handle hot motors like the aforementioned z2.
motors from PN racing are inconsistent quality, but their stock class motor, said "Speedy 05 BB", is widely accepted in stock class so it's easy to frankenstein it with optimum parts from other 'legal' stock motors while keeping it looking like a regular ol' 05 (ok, the neo mags are not legal, but hey)
the best 130 motors overall are by atomic, www.rcatomic.com NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE XMODS "EXPERTS" ATOMIC MODS IN TEXAS, though they carry atomic products now thanks to my friend and MZR world champ, Joe Chen- http://www.reflexracing.net/
