HPI #6507 Universal Body Post Set 4-40/3mm also work well

I use the associated bulkhead shims under the body post to raise it up a bit.

Perfect. Thanks Guys. I ordered set of the HPI posts. They looked the longest and I can always cut them down. The AE posts looked to only be 1 hole longer than the stock posts and I wasn't sure that was enough.

Default TC6.1 Parts

Can anyone help me pls. I want to know the comprehensive list of upgraded parts the tc6.1 has over the tc6 - The petitrc list and the Team Ass. sites don't list the gear diff and outdrives etc. Also did the 3 hole vertical rear diff top brace come out with the tc6.1 or is it a factory aftermarket item?

Default 88mm chassis

Noticed the stock chassis was narrowed to 88mm. 4mm on each side shaved off? To reduce chassis rub? By Narrowing it does the chassis become more flexible? Thanks

Yeah would have more flex. Super narrow chassis seems to be fashionable these days.

The TC6 does come with a gear diff and solid front axle. The 3hole bearing caps are a new FT part and are not a running change to the kit. As far as chassis go, the 6.1 still uses the original chassis.

My understanding is that this was done to prevent the chassis from dragging, not to increase flex (although it will slightly).

Rick, correct. Between riding curbs and a fast sweeper my car was dragging a lot, and sometimes would catch and spin out, the narrower chassis reduced that. It does flex a bit more so i went back to a regular upper deck (instead of one cutout (front and back) as we usually run. I must thank Dawson and FJ for their help (its always nice to hear what my car does wrong) after a few weeks of heavy testing i was very happy with the car

What were you cutting on the upper deck?
