On a comment on the tire truer on Speedtech, my friend here bought one and I used it a week or 2 ago. It's just a basic no frills deal. Very simple yet does the job. It is highly recommended that you constantly check the tire diameter with calipers while cutting a full set of tires. There is no guage or notches to tell how much you cut off. So it's all guess work. I basically remembered how many turns I made with the knob while cutting. Then remembered the position when I got the right size. Then every time I came near that position with another tire from the set, I started measuring the tire til it was right. So all in all. Does a good just cutting. Just need to keep track on measuring. It goes forward and reverse. Blah blah blah.

Dan,

I appreciate that...I'll be in the shop a little bit tomorrow (until noon) if you want to swing by and pick up some stuff and drop off mine, that would be great. And give me an email at:

[email protected]

If you see this tonight, so we can set up a time to meet (instead of posting back and forth on here)

Looking at the Japanese Yen price, it should be around the same price as the R2. We'll be able to confirm as we get closer to the release date.
