Are all the parts Tamiya? Where did you get the red anodized stuff? I have been thinking about getting an F1 but do not know a whole lot about them. Do you have to use a shorty pack? Thanks.

Everything is indeed Tamiya 100%. The car originally came from F1PaintLabs. He does anodizing for the cars. I personally used the shorty pack so I would have options as to where and place it. It also reduces the weight of the car.
I see a lot of people run full 2cell packs outdoors though.
