Thanks.

Those are the body supports...need to be cut apart and placed (screwed or riveted) inside the body to stiffen the sides.

I thought that was to make a snow plow.

Yep they are body stiffiners. They are optional and dont need to be run.

Less head clearance will give you more bottom power, but less high end speed.....

I would leave the clearance as it is set now.
If your engine needs more bottom, you can remove 0.1-0.2 mm.......

I have a NovaMAX MF (ok, it is Massimo F. hand tuned), with approx. the same head clearance, it runs like hell, enough bottom and a very high top speed.......

Any guys getting their car's ready for racing? I'm going to try and drive my 8th maybe tomorrow. I still remembering from last time how come I can't get that thing to stop spinning out even when going slow. Figured maybe the tires might be off, or the adjuster nut may be too tight. However the adjuster nut isn't showing a thread and yet the manual says .6mm to 1mm. I'll run some test tomorrow though and maybe even run the tires I was saving for track only. There's a possible chance I may just run 8th onroad this year only.

I'm getting ready to rebuild my cars this week for the WinNats. Where are you planning on running up here? It's brick out there! Bring your car to Bridgeport or FBF this year and you'll have a blast. Also try to make some big races like the GLC or the Nats...they will be well worth it.

I'm currently debating on going to bridgeport or brooklyn as of right now. It's 10:07am. Today and tomorrow will be awesome though I'm on a time limit. Today I have to get my mom at 5:30pm and tomorrow I have to be at work by 5pm. Wednesday of all my favorite days will rain That's the day in the week that I don't have work or school.
