SpeedtechRC has only had the McClaren body for a while. I had to order my Stratus body from XRay. I wish these little sedans hadn't gone out of vogue so soon. I thing Proline used to make a body too.

Well, I squeezed every bit of speed out of the 27 turn motor so tonight I threw a 19t motor in and it did pretty well. It was a used 19t quad mag Reedy. I'll be buying a KMR hand wound 19t later this week and I'll play with the gearing more. Sure is a fun car.

It's Proline / Protoform Mini Cooper s/n : PL-3139 (190mm).

I have to cut the body to fit the M-03 wheelbase.

Very nice. I picked one of those bodies up a couple weeks ago. Now I just have to find a car to put under it.

Are these the same size as the HPI and Tamiya mini tires? I'm currently running HPI mini x pattern tires on my M03s. The Tamiya tires wear out VERY fast if run on asphalt.
My XRay uses standard touring car tires which is why I can't run the HPI or Tamiya Mini bodies.
