I also received my fanmount! I will be testing it with one Much More fan (LHS had only one in store) at the Dutch Xray Challenge this sunday.

This mount is AWESOME! Thanks again! My temps are way down and the quality is fantastic. Here is a pic of my setup in my T2.
FYI - I am using one fan to draw air away from the can at the armature and the other to blow cool air onto the brushes. The result has been a slightly warm motor after running a complete 3800 pack thru the car! Normally I end up with gearing that cooks stock motors and this mount and fan setup dropped those temps dramatically!

Brandon,
Looks like you are missing a fastening screw on that rear fan.
Got mine too. Using the dual Associated fans. Sweet setup.

I ran my Reedy QM with one tooth up than I normally do and the motor was at 180 after 5 minutes, before the Tamale fan mount and fans.
After the fans I ran a whole pack through...about 8-9minutes strait race speeds.
The motor temped at 155 coming off.
If that isn't enough to say it works I don't know what is. A 35* drop means you can gear up a tooth where everyone else will be lagging behind ya..LOL

Yeah I ran mine this weekend. In stock after running for about 9 mins. (five min. race then we all stay out and beat the crap out of each other) the motor came off at about 135 degs.
In the past I have seen numbers in the 150-160 range. So I would say it works.
There is only one thing I noticed, with the T2 everything is so close ont he chassis that to get the mesh right I have to clamp the mount right around the top of the can so that when the motor is rotated back the clamp will miss the esc. This is putting the endbell fan out further than I would like. I lost a fan on a side impact Sat. And to say that at $9 a pop for the Asso. fans that is gonna get EXPENSIVE......
Time to look for a cheaper fan!
