How do you guys know how well the T4 goes around a corner? It's a whole new platform.

That said, I'm joining the BD7 crowd to see what all the hype is about. I hit plenty of things, usually hard and fast, so I guess I'll have to work on bulletproofing the car and hoping that's enough.

A big race meet on weekend with 2 full days of racing and nothing breaks.

Tried pushing it hard yesterday. Really bad stack but only the front shock eyelet got pulled out and stripped the plastic.

I am going to try the carbon arms and steering block cause the stock ones keeps changing droop settings after every run.

I have tried removing the bell crank bridge but the crank arms are too flexible and cause something like a trim change. Put the bridge back on and its gone.

Also the stock springs hooks just amazing! If you havent tried, give it a go.

Adam I have seen the T4 in action before. So have you. In the sweepers the car wasnt very impressive at carrying speed.

When running on asphalt I would eat up time going through a very fast corner against the Xray cars. It would literally be the difference of behind a 5-6 car lengths to having the inside corner advantage. Yes now that was personally against the 2012.

From a visual I know that you could watch Howart's AE do the same thing against Paul L. when he was running the T4 at Nats. Rick would be behind and he would catch him in the same place everytime. Other than that I feel Paul is the better wheel man no matter what between the two but the car just slowed so much in fast corners.

Turn like a Tamiya, stable like an XRay. Whoever optimizes that is the winner.

That's literally the hardest car in the world to own. It would be easier to buy 10 Awesomatix.

could someone help with steering on the new bd7. howmuch degrees of steering do you get maximum on the inside and outside wheels when the steering blocks touch the c-hubs and are in full lock??

I would highly recommend that you avoid letting someone's steering blocks touch your chub. Probably better for the long-term.

Just as a FYI, that was not a actual production T4 you watched in Joliet. It was a 1st generation prototype and not the same as the production version.

Didn't realize this thread has turned into the "Xray T4" thread.
