Default Adjustable Ackerman

Hi Guys

Has anyone got more info on the adjustable ackerman for the 720 (803192)?

How do you know which inserts gives you more ackerman and which one gives you less?

Thanks

Unofficially, it appears that the 720 in Teddy Syach's hands has won the 2007 FEMCA Championships!

The insert which brings the tracking rods more to the front of the car gives more ackerman.

Thanks DS Motorsport.

So, more front = more ackerman.

What about closer to the center of the car vs towards the wheels?

Thanks

Default Rear arm question

Does anyone know if there is a visable difference between the newer stronger arms and the older original rear arms. I just brushed up against the barrier and pushed in the pivot ball. Twice this happened, I had read the early kits had problem arms but the new one I put on doesnt seem any tougher and they are idenical looking. I do know I have an early production kit. So I was expecting the new arm I bought last week from molzer to be tougher.

I had the same problem yesterday at Crystal Park... I was tapped in the rear and when I brought my car in, the pivit ball was pushed all the way in. I had changed that same lower arm last week and was told it was the updated one... It looked the same and had the same part number. I was told the new lower arm would have the same part number on it and that it was the new updated one. After inspection, I couldn't tell the difference between the new updated one and the 2 damaged/destroyed ones that I had kept in my parts box... So I don't know... I did see a package of lower arms with the letter N on them... but I was told they were all the same... I'm sure if there was a difference and a mistake was made, that the hobby shop where I purchased it from will make it alright... In the mean time, I didn't have a spare, so I used some CA glue on the threads and made a track side repair... Didn't have a problem for the rest of the day... but now I'm stuck with that rear toe-in setting...

As far as I know there is no visible difference between the two.

The new arms are made of a different material, but look the same. If you continue to have this problem try using a pivot ball where the thread section is thicker. Maybe the 1/8 scale ones or an other brand.

I have a question...
I have been running my 720 and absolutely love the thing. There is a weakness. The damn front bumper support. That thing broke when I was in a race this weekend. The body was misaligned and made a mess of the front end of the car. This is the third one that has snapped since I have own the car. The funny thing is that my car was not harmed or damaged anywhere else. Besides the 710 bumper conversion, does Serpent or any other manufacturer make a more sturdy front bumper??

I do not use the 720 front bumper that comes in the kit. I use the optional one that is like the the one for the 710. Never had any problems!!

I have the optional bumper. I didn't install earlier because I saw one of my friends crack his optional bumper on a slight wall bump at high speed. I will install on my 720. My 710 has never had such a problem. Did they change the material since then?
