Tekin hotwire update warning!!!!!!!

Default Tekin hotwire update warning!!!!!!!

So i was at hobbytown. And my friend received a call from i guess tekin. They said do not plus your esc into the hotwire. They are have an update problem and it is frying the esc...

Just throwing that out there.

Assuming this is true (which I'm very dubious of) you could plug it in all you want as long as you haven't downloaded this bad update from tekin. As far as I know, there haven't been any updates from tekin in a while so unless you have some beta software for testing, there is no way for this to be true.
