Hey guys,
I run stock 1/12th , and have some killer Fuku cells that I got for Cleveland , they are awesome cells and I don't want to hurt them. My question is ..... the guys want to run MOD this weekend and I want to know since these cells are trained for stock racing , will running them in MOD for one weekend do any damage to them ? Could it make them better ? or should I run some of my older stuff and keep the good stuff for stock ?
Thanks
Bob

Running mod for a pack won't hurt them. Afterall, they were trained orginally at 30 amps which is closer to mod than stock racing. Charge at 5 amps instead of 6 and you'll be fine. Happy racing.

Guys,

I've been reading this forum over the last few days. If even half of what you guys say about these Fukuyama packs is true then i want some. Only trouble is that they are never in stock. Even the Power cube, wich a friend asked me to order, isn't availeble. Now pushing a product is all fine and well, but stop ranting on about this so people lose interest and i can finaly get some.

I know Dan said they have a good batch of cell that they think will be producing good numbers. He's at the Snowbirds right now but will be back next week. Give him a call next week. I bet he'll be able to get you set up with some good stuff.

All the matchers are having trouble right now getting bigger numbers out of these shorter cells. I've got some 1.165 practice packs with the shorter cells and they seem to be very strong so far. They only have a couple runs on them so I'll know more soon but I've heard from some guys that the shorter cell, eventhough they're giving lower numbers, are performing just as well as the higher numbers on the older cells. I'll have to run them some more to confirm that though.

You can also try SpeedtechRC.com as a backup source, they carry Fukuyama as well.

Thanks for the info, but they are out to.
I'll just have to wait for the Fukuyama guys to return from the Snowbirds.

Dan is at Snowbirds, but everyone else should be at the shop still...
