Default learn a valuble lesson while trying to trade

Hi everyone. Watch out for scammers. I came across one while trying to make a trade deal. Long story short i made a 2 for 1 deal with a forum member and he never held up his end of the deal. I shipped both of mine and gave tracking numbers. He said he shipped friday but will not provide tracking information. It may cost me a rc8 buggy. I dont know if i can turn the package around in time before delivery. I guess i should have done a little more research on the guy before i agreed to the deal. Just hope it doesnt happen to other members on here.

I moved this to trader feedback, that's where it belongs. We need the username that you're dealing with.

Edit: damn sucks you don't know the username...

For the simple fact that he wouldnt provide shipping info. There was always a reason of why he couldnt give it to me. He said the truck was shipped out on friday. Well today is monday and he still would not procide tracking. Should be able to stop one of the trucks but the buggy is due to be there tomorrow. If he really shipped the truck why wouldnt he give the tracking to me. Maybe im over reacting a bit but giving tracking info on a truck should be pretty simple to do.

If you happened to ship with fed ex you can stop the delivery and have it sent back or have it held at the station until you tell them to deliver even on the expected date if your the original sender and there is no additional charge. I have done this on more than one occasion due to a dead beat trader.

Thats going to be the plan. The rc8 is due to deliv in the am. The revo is due to be there on the 30th. The revo i know i can stop. The rc8 i hope i get ahold of them quick enough. I really wanted the erevo i thought he had but its not worth maybe losing both of mine. I looked at the pics a little closer and they were taken 3 years ago.

Agree that better safe than sorry but some people actually ship without tracking numbers. I'd only feel safe if it was a user I trusted though.

I'm going through my first trade myself.

That's a lot more to go on. Gigantic red flag.

FYI, you can't post personal information here. I would delete that before you get an infraction or a mini vacation from the forum.
