Have a question for you guys. When I installed my RW pulleys. I noticed when I tightened down the bulkhead on the diff, the diff didnt freewheel like it was supposed to. I backed out the screws and it helped. Are the CNC alum. ones more precise and will let it be more smoother?
Thanks

I have the alum. bulkheads and I just put the RW pullies on and when everything was tightened down it never tightened up any. I would think it is probably because of the plastic bulkheads. Make sure you have the bulkheads slid over the bearing right before you tighten everything down.

Old Man: The AE springs come in 2.5 lb rates (10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20 etc) while the Schumacher springs are in 5 lb rates (10, 15, 20, etc). Some peolpe use them to get that 'just right' rate. The down side is that they are much shorter than the Schumacher springs so if you are running threaded bodies, you have to flip the colors and still may need to run a spacer (or you have to run lots of spacers if you don't have the threaded shocks). Hopefully, Schumacher will come out with some...
Jack: The RW pulleys are machined diff pulleys that make the drive train much smoother and effecient. They also make machined 1/2 width drive gears, too. Availible from Schumacher...

Racer X- I was worried when I installed my threaded bodies. But flipping the color did the trick. I figured I would need a spacer too, but to my suprise, I acutually had a lot more threads than I expected extra. The AE springs as racer x said, are a little more tunable than Schumacher springs. But both are good.

Well, since you say that bigdog. My mission came with the tank, Schumacher yellow springs. My dad had to hold the shaft with pliers while I pulled up the spring retianer. The weird thing is, AE 40lb springs seem softer than Schumacher 40lb. I cant explain this either, must of been the spray paint schumacher uses on their springs making it stiffer lol
