Also give us your first and third run numbers, I have found the first run to be unusualy high on the Wats side (On one motor I got 135w) but they usualy level out at 125wats and 31500 RPM, I can get the RPM's up but then I lose power.

Torque on main screen- 90
I dont use the RPM on the main screen I use the 30T step rpm in the data table - we were seeing about 24000 rpm out of them, which is about 1000 less rpm than a monster motor

That sounds like what I have been seeing. I check my av amp range from 21a-31a for Stock TC, in that range I get about 112w+ RPM at 30T is round 24000 also. my torque numbers aren’t as high as yours, I get up to about 85 on my best motor.
I’ve really been battling to find the right gearing for these motors at my local track. my epics just seem to rip much better. im thinking that maybe larger tracks don’t like these motors.
our laps are around 18 seconds, size is 60m by 40m
on a monster that revs 25500 at 30T I rollout at 27.0, with the CO27 with 24000 at 30T I started rolling out at 28.5, went higher and lower but nothing seemed to work, the best lap times I got was at 29.4 but was still .5 per lap slower than with an epic.
Ill appreciate if anyone here has some advice for me to get these babies to work. Last weekend 3 of us tried these motors and none of us had any luck

Thanks for the info guys! Unfortunately I only got a motor checker. But perhaps someone at the track will run my motors on their dyno.
On the motor checker I get around 34000 rpm, 9A at 7V. But thats not comparing apples with apples is it!

Since I run oval so I cant help ya with the TC gearing.
All I can say is for oval on a small track I add 2 teeth to the co27 compared to a Monster. On a big oval track I have seen guys go up 3 to 4 teeth.

I know very little about these dynos - so I'll just nod my head and agree to that. lol
What I can tell you is I had to gear WAYYYYY down from my other CO27's so though this number sheet was confusing at first - it really made sense as I got the gearing right and the motor came to life. I had my other motors at 7.5-7.3 - this one is at 6.6 currently and I actually think I can go down more. Not much... but a little more... I'm thinking in the 6.4 to 6.5
And I can tell you this thing had a ton of nuts out of the corners.
BTW - I wasn't trying to bash your motor/s. I was just outrageously happy with this one - and thought I'd post up the numbers. I've seen the entire time you've been building awesome stuff.

I ran the co27 on 4 cell oval, short track, very tight corners. I had to gear it up and ran same gear ratio as monstser stock. I believe in 4 cell there is not enought voltage and amperage to take advantage of the mid range. it work better with a lower overall gear ration. I was at the bottom of the a main. I think the monster is the better 4 cell motor. IMHO.

The other thing that was odd to me... as I went up on the gearing... the motor came off the track cooler. Didn't really get that... other then once I did that I wasn't havnig to touch the gas much in the infield... just little blips here and there and it was a land missle.
