Default Steering servo Ebuggy

What steering servo is reccomended for 1/8 buggy using a Tekin rx8 Esc and not having to worry about any glitch issues.

The xpert 4000 series servo is an awesome deal at only $80 for over 250oz of torque and speeds up to .07/sec

There is also the Associated DS1015 which I currently have in my ebuggy and is still plenty of torque to move the wheels at speed.

I pretty much would do at a minimum 250oz or higher torque and .13 sec transit or faster.

Variety of good servos out there that will fit that requirement.

Check out the protek 130t or 130ss. Price is about $90 last I looked and specs are great.

Hitec 7950.

I can vouch for the 7955 and 7954 as well. Haven't tried the uber high end brushless new servos yet.

I will 2nd the protek's. I have a 130t in my ebuggy and a 150t in truggy, both are glitch free, and I run tekin RX8's in both also.

+1 for Protek.

I have also run the Protek 130T in the Buggy, for both steering and brake / throttle. Great servo, no issues, runs like a champ. No Noise, no Chatter, reliable.

Now I am running the Protek 170T's for both throttle / brake and steering. - overkill, just wanted to try them.

I run ds8711 in all 6 of my 1/8 buggy and truggy steering. I happen to get a great deal on 9 new ones. At 140 new retail I think I would of tried to find something a bit cheaper though. 400 oz of torque is great though
