XXX-S G+ vs. JRXS
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at trading for a XxX-S with alot of mods and was wondering if its still a good platform to start with or should I just go with the JRXS....Basically, what I want to know is, will this car be "obsolete" by next year or will I still have an ok car for the next couple of years to come (maybe 1 or 2 seasons)....Also, is there a 1-way front made for this car?
Thanks for all of your help in advance,
NSantana

XXXs is still a good car but, it pretty much is obsolete in the racing world. I would go with the JRXS if you can. Seems to be some good deals to be had on them right now. OR........what about a Xray FK05, I've seen some very, very good deals lately and it is a very competive car aswell and much stronger, in my opinion, than the Losi's. Later

just felt to mention even though you get a fully mod xxx-s and is just as competitive as the jrzs... you have to remember that the potiential of the xxx-s is most prolly hit the wall and the jrxs isnt, so that would mean the jrxs ld be betwouter and stay better for the period of time

Wow,
Thanks for the quick responses everyone. I think I'm going to go ahead and go for it as initially, all I will use them for is to keep up driving skills during winter....If I get more into the EP racing scene, I'll go for the T2 or JRXS...now that I think about it, buying the JRXS now would be like getting an MTX4 as a first car....besides, if I DO get tired of them, the wife will have some pretty good beginners eh? :-) Thanks everyone for all of your input

I think the XXX-S is a great car to start with (I started with it) in the right hands is still competitive and Losi still makes parts for it. I would stay away from most other cars that have been replaced because part support also disapears but Losi still sells the XXX-S new (sport RTR) so the parts are still being made.
