How many runs are you getting between charges on that battery Bill?

I run mine at 5, but a value of 10 shouldn't be a problem.

What motor are you running and what timing does it have?

I am running the New GM 13.5 -The Timing is fixed not sure what it is ?

I had a thought that because the Start RPM for the Boost is set to kick in really early, I wondered if it is just wheel spinning ?

Thanks for your help.

You may be right about wheel spin. I don't really know the motor either other than GMs usually work quite well with the RS from others I've seen. I think it is a case of playing with the start RPM and maybe just trying to bring the throttle in more gradually to see what happens.

There was no problem with mine off the line last weekend in 12th scale, like a rocket!

Don't rule out wheel spin. I lost 2 spots at the start of the A-main at our last state race because I spun the wheels at the start and pretty much stayed stationary.

I started second, fell to fourth, got peeled, fell to sixth, and worked my way back up to finish second in the end. So it worked out in the end.

I have done three 6-minute runs in WGT; but, tend to recharge it every other run.

Have a Hyperion Duo; so, it is easy to do both batteries at the same time.

If they weren't SP drivers then I guess they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of hiding it. The SP drivers were in a tough situation. Either look stupid getting smashed down the loooonnnng straight or risk looking silly if found out hiding Tekins in their cars. I imagine blatantly sticking Tekins in their cars without the efforts of hiding it wasn't an option. At the end of the day LRP/Nosram went and stole the show anyway.

The funniest thing to me really is that SP obviously sponsored the event with handout SP11.5 motors and then this happens. So they spent a lot of money and appear to have only got some negative publicity!

hey guys i want to find out if my settings are ok for my motor. i really dont want to blow my motor with this esc lol

drag 25
reverse off
brake strength 90
neutral width 94
motor type bl/fw
throttle profile 5
voltage cutoff 2
push control off
timing boost 50
turbo max
turbo delay .1
turbo ramp 2.0
start rpm 2850
end rpm 12000

are these safe settings for a orion 17.5 vortex? im all new to this tekin and i really want to have good punch out of the corner and awsome topend on the straight.

i had some help setting this up but that was it. so i dont know what the limits of my motor are or the max rpm i can set the end rpm at without blowing it up. the car im driving is a cyclone s with 17t pullies and 96t spur and 40t pinion
