The opposite can also be true. The Yokomo seems like it's good in mod, but it's been worthless in the stock classes 'round here. You'll get a few mixers who swear by it, but anybody good that's run it is slower.
Corner speed is king, especially when you don't have the motor and space to make up for scrubbing off speed in the corners.

If he were racing against and beat guys like Hara, Groskamp, Rheinhard, Volker, etc. then that truly would be something else. But fair to say we all know that's not going to happen. As good as a racer he is, his "A game" is only a C or B game to the guys above. He's not at the same tier.

Elliot is a fantastic driver, also very friendly and has given me some good tips for my 417. Personally I was gutted when he went from Tamiya to Durango as he is a future worlds winner in my opinion. (Plus it was good to have an onroad works Tamiya driver in the UK)

Not sure how much of a "victory" this is when he's not racing against the true "top guns" of touring cars... I mean, it might as well been the likes of me racing against him. What kind of victory is it to beat normal guys like me?

His A game has put him in 2 or 3 of the last worlds a mains if memory serves me correct so im not exactly sure what your talking about.
