I have the previous gen Fantom 25.5 that I run in my F1 car and all I can say is that motor is a rocket. I have never run a 25.5 that has the guts that motor has.
Flip side, I bought the same Gen 21.5 to use in USGT and it is a dud. No rpm's whatsoever.

I can't wait to try the New Fantom 25.5.

Okay new question I was at my LHS today and noticed that they had a Novak 25.5 ballistic 2 of them actually still new. I have been using the Boss 25.5 from Novak which I thought was the VTA motor. Unless it is just my computer that is crazy I can't get to the novak site anymore so I can't find out what the differences between the motors and which one is better.

nevermind got documents but still curious as to what people say because apparently I am using a ballistic boss, but there is also just a regular ballistic

It had been a while since I have raced a Novak. My 24k, delaminated the middle stator. I was out of town had forgotten to bring my spare motor. I asked my fellow racers if anyone had a motor I could use. A newer racer said he had one it was slow but i could race it. I did bring my motor analyzer I set the motor at my normal settings. Motor should have TQ and won the motor was 6 hundredths off fast time and .3 from winning 22 car field some pretty good VTA drivers. The right Novak motor tuned and geared properly is still competitive. To my surprise.

I guess the weaker the class, the closer the motors will be... Novak is still competitive....
Has anybody here tested their motors at more than 7amps on the analyzer in a shaftdrive car rather than a belt one ??? I think it might be possible in a shaftdrive, and not in a belt drive...
