Kurt,
Stick with the .08 module gears. You have a much wider selection of ratios to get dialed track to track, plus they are much smoother.

As for stripping spurs, just make sure you align pinion and spur well and make sure you tighten your engine mount screws and it will not be an issue.

great news,
i'm going to have to get off my butt and get hold of a couple as i love the idea of not having to glue pads on ever again

Kurt - I've found that having the 4mm chassis and the new clutch bell (same part number, but has two holes for clutch adjustment) I haven't had single gear strip and I'm using a 52 spur for 2nd gear.

Doc - Same part number as the old knuckle but with a -B on the end.

Jamie - What's up

Thanks for the info. Sorry I didn't get to call you back last nite. My little girl has been sick. I'll buzz you on the way up to Micro Night at Leisures. I'm gonna lay it down upon Curly again. I think he's having a rough time going from 1/8 to 1/18th.

Regarding the PDub brake disk, what did you do about getting it to float better on the 3 pulley pins? Should I open up the holes or does that happen with the break-in? It's a pretty tight fit.
