With those specs you can get a belt from any industrial belt/bearing place. They are not specific to RC cars. Most of them were made for sewing machines and other tools that are pretty standard around the world. I have gotten them for many of my cars. YZ10's, Parma mini mustang 4wd, Optima's,pretty much everything for all the vintage cars I have.

Got my rear belt in today!

Can't wait to get the street weapon up and running.

I will really give the belt a work out! I have my SW set up right now with a 5700kv motor and 2s lipo!!

Trailduster... so glad you got your belt! It's nice to have another Street Weapon fan keeping their car alive. I'm actually thinking about branching out into xx-4 belts now to keep more old Losi cars and buggies on the track.

Hello,
Wanted to know if you are still selling SW belts. Got one from a friend, looks like it was tricked out back in the day, belts are toast. Would like to get it running, any help is greatly appreciated.

GREAT! I'm so glad you got that thing back on the road. That's what I'm all about it making the old, new again. They still handle great and work well on the track. Glad to hear you got them!

Default Still Waiting

Still waiting for the belts to come, regular shipping takes an average of 40 days from my previous experience. A fellow Losi owner told me to try Tamiya TA05 belt part#51210, which has 113T and 339mm long but is only 3mm wide.

40 days! WOW! That would seem like an eternity. The Tamiya TA05 belt will NOT work if it is 339mm long. The stock ones are 336mm long. The ones I have made are around 5mm wide which is a bit wider than stock, but supposedly they cannot cut them thinner without damaging them. I have cut mine at times to experiment but never felt like there was a huge difference in performance. I sure hope you get your belts in a decent amount of time. Please keep me in the loop and send or post up some pics of your car. I'm sure we'd all like to see them.

I've actually installed the TA05 belt and the car is now running 4wd. Haven't check the condition of the belt and the pulley after some runs cause it's quite a lot of screws that need to be taken out. Will post pics when I get a chance.
