Looks like a V-8 in a Volkswagen...

Something that small, with that much power, will prolly be a real bitch to drive. The brushless equipped one I drove was too damn fast for it's own good...I can't image running nitro. That looks like they shoe-horned a 12 small block in there...that's just nutz!

Default nitro

They wasted their time, just build the 1/10th scale tourning and your in business. limited quaninities means they will only make a few more than are ordered. conversation piece not very practical.

yeah..just what we need......another class that HPI beat them to it......listen,I understand 1/18th scale as a way to do INDOOR winter racing........or even if some hobby shops have limited sat night racing space........but 1/18th scale nitro that needs an OUTDOOR area?......during warm weather?..........what,are ya stupid,or just plain crazy?.....

make a damn 1/10th scale nitro car already.......or are you still sleeping with Serpent in some type of stupid agreement?.....

I would highly doubt they could make a shortblock 12 work in that car. It has got to be smaller then that ( but I could be wrong) Something like a .049-061 would prolly be on the large size for that thing

No way it's a 12. Its gotta be a cox type engine. I'm trying to figure out the niche. If I bought it what would I do with it? Can't run it indoors unless it has a steam engine. Outdoors on a smooth small track where space is limited.

This car has to have something special like a 30 minute run time on 1 tank of fuel. Then I can see myself having fun with it.

They are making it for one simple reason, sales. They know that most kids are stupid enough to think just because it is nitro that it is fast.

Give me a Motek M18 with Aon BL motor and 3 li-po cells, and I will show you the world.

I had a Motek Chaais M18 before, and they are a fun little car, but too im practical for anywhere else than the basement. Not to mention that there is almost no turnout for them, anywhere.

Maybe XRAY is aiming for Guinness Book of Records. Crazy and stupid. I doubt how to drive it without traction rolls. . I wonder what size of engine do they use for it.
