First time on track
This is no too bad for you! But honestly the track is too small for 1/8. I hoped you had fun yesterday. If you wants to buy used 1/10 in electric or nitro, goes to Ken shop. Sometime he had some good use one.

Yeah.. Time to bribe dad to buy a car off Ken or here..

Children's Hospital Race for Charity in Victoria
Hi there RRRers,
John T asked me to post some information about a special club race in Victoria on Sunday August 21st.
On Sunday August 21st, IROCC will be racing for charity at the Queen Alexandra Hospital for kids in Victoria. The R/C track is setup beside a full-size car show so there are TONS of spectators. This is a one-day club race, so there won't be any special prizes or trophies. The track size is similar to IROCC's regular club track but the asphalt is slightly more abrasive.
We are inviting all our Vancouver friends to join in the fun! You will need to be on the 7AM ferry in the morning, and you could easily catch the 5PM/6PM/7PM ferry back home. Race entry is free if you are coming from outside Victoria. All race fees will be donated to the Queen Alexandra Hospital. If you want to come over for the day, but can't afford to take a car on the ferry, you can walk-on (about $15) and we'll pick you up.
Location
2400 Arbutus Rd
Victoria, BC V8N 1V7
http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=queen+a...9&z=11&iwloc=A
Schedule
First qualifier at 10AM
Two or three rounds of qualifying depending on turnout
Mains to follow
Spectator Factor
As soon as the Nitro cars fire up, the track becomes lined with people from the car show. It's a really neat race environment with so many people watching what we do!
