I manage to get second place, but could not get FTD. It wasn`t the engine, car or driver....the other driver was Mark Green whom is British 1/8th number one driver !!!

Just to let you know that yours BRB p/s set is excellent..best investment so far...it can kick the like of JP, Max and sirio...The engine got so much torque, i can even pull along side a eighth!!!!
I was using a Nova Rossi 5mm legal pipe, but is going to put in an outlaw pipe soon.

Already ran a gallon through the engine, and it still get struck TD !!!The engine is very difficult to crank over without the use of a heat gun. My JP FX 01 have less than a gallon, there is a tight pinch at TD, but still able to start as normal without the use of a heat gun (blow torch in my case !!)

oh, back to my question, is the BRB set ready for the 21 yet.? Not sure what engine it is going in yet, an RB or a Nova Rossi. I would like to try a set as well..

Thank you very much

Not sure if you realised but Mark Green was disqualified promoting you to first. Great race result.

Default BRB SET

Hi Edward,

It is Philip....Could you reserve a 3.5cc BRB set for me ? Is the aligement pin on the exhaust side or boost port side ? Is the con rod designed for nova rossi ?....reason for asking is that the big end on the Rb is bigger than nova rossi or vice versa...can`t remember !!!

p.s How many ports as well ?

Thanks

Hi Philip.
I am reserving set for you.
Aligning pin on buster side. Conrods are Novarossi style. I know that conrods for RB are slightly different, but didn't make them yet. You can get without conrod and use RB conrods-wrist pin hole is identical.
there is 7 main ports, 2 bpass port and 3 exausts. Sizes and angles are different from original.

Default Very nice book.

I saw this book in Hobby People. I recomend to everybody, who wants to learn something about our engines, to get this book. It just $20 price.

Why would we read a book when we have YOU to ask all the questions we need answers for

I hope everything is going well for you.

Shoot me a PM about that new LRP engine, you know what I mean.

Thanks

Hi Stefan.
Welcome back to forum. How is life on new place?
Everything goes pretty good on both lines-you know what I am talking about
I have study engine a little it and it seems it will be one of the best from Pico. Guys from LRP did a lot of work to get there. I think they are on very succssefull path and for Novarossi will be little bit harder now to stay updated, specialy when their new generation egines last small bit. I think LRP will be one of the best on market very soon. We will see.
I might start offering my P/S sets for Pico base engines soon too, but not sure for now, I have so many projects going, so don't have too much time for new lines.
Do you still running AAC and BRB?
Best regards
Edward

Hi Ed,

good to hear that everything is going well for you.

I guess a Picco P/S set would be a great idea, especially since the rod was always Picco's weakest point.

I'm not racing at all right now. My stuff is still in boxes and the weather is going bad here anyways.

I will be racing electric indoors this winter.

Tell Reto and Juergen that I will need engines for next season
