Hey Guys,
Sorry for quietly sneaking off to the last race, was kind of a last minute decision to actually go. Anyway, myself and the rest of the Banta crew are planning on going again for the August 10th event. Hopefully we can have a big AZ group again, as the CA guys missed having you fast guys present .
On a side note, if I were to buy a new motor before the next round what would you all recommend?
Also, been running the Futaba S9650 servo, but thinking of trying something else. I see that both the Savox SH-1257MG, and Spektrum H5020G are faster servos but with less torque. Any thoughts or comments?
Thanks, James

Yea yea sure James , I've been reading alot of good things recently on the killshot motors and on the team powers Actinium motors. I think I recall Evan posting on the TP thread that he recently bought one but I don't know if he has been able to put any laps on it yet. I also remember seeing some posts about the R1 Wurks motors being strong, don't know anyone thats using one of those so hard to say how good those reviews are.
Jason told me that he is trying for the 10th, have not heard if anyone else is able to go that date or not.

Yeah, my Team Powers motor feels good, but has zero racing laps and I think I read somewhere that it and the R1 motor are functionally similar. I thought you had that new Trinity motor?
On the servo front, I have been running the same JR servo for a few years, but how it compares I'm not really sure. I never broke one but I always run a servo-saver, so that may be why.
I drove up to Phoenix today to check out the new Hobbytown SRS with the indoor carting, the offroad track looks great and I saw where they plan to have on-road racing some day, at least several months from now. It doesn't look bad at all.
