Brad: I run Eric's stuff in oval. The only time I've ran my Fuji motor I had it at 36 degrees. I'm going to try it with a little less at the NORRCA warmup race next week. It ran great at 36 with the 4383's. I haven't got the gearing right on running less than 36 degrees. I have some xxx's to try in one motor next week. You need to make the trip to Henderson, TN for the NORRCA nats in May.

ts,

Less timing and more rollout seems to be the ticket for the smaller carpet tracks. I am not sure if it would work as well on a big track though. Let me know how it goes at the warmup race. I hear that is an awesome track, and I would love to make it down there sometime.

I'll be running the EA Fuji's next week at the Carpet Oval Nats. I'll let you know what I learn fom that race.

Brad: Thanks for letting me know. Did the Fuji's turn more RPM with the xxx brush? Come on down for the Nats in May. Some of the guys from Indy are coming. They came down last year.

ts,

I am not sure what the difference was on the dyno. EA is building a couple of more for me right now, so if he sees this, maybe he can answer how the XXX's compare to the 4383's on the dyno. On the track, they both seemed to like similar gearing, so I suspect there was not a huge difference in RPM. I have only ran the XXX's in 2 heats, so I don't have much experience with them yet. I'll be able to do more back to back runs with them and 4383's next week at the carpet oval nats. So I'll let you know how they compare.

I know some guys from here will be down for the NORRCA race. I'm just not sure what my work schedule looks like for then yet.

Hey guys, Just want to check something again.

I've got a pair of slotted 767's in my pitbox, how will these compare with full-face ones (which I usually run)?
It's a vertical slot, btw.

Motor is a ROAR, with purple/red.

regards
Ed
