For years running off road center mount was the norm. I wonder what has been the hold up on sedan? Center mount is the future. And now that it is obviously possible and some one has put it out I;m supprised the cry for it is'nt a lot louder.
Mauhbid4 thanks for the pics. That is differant. I wonder if its really worth it the xray desighn really was'nt. Unless you can get the motor vents in the right position. Cool idea as far as a sales gimmick I think. It looks like the air blows right back out the other 3 vents. Good looking car. And definitly fast.

I think the fans are really the only significant way to cool any motor.
I like the battery cut outs simply to get wieght lower. And then the motor lower. I dont think the vents are really that significant.
But kill two birds with one stone I always say.
And if you need a fan to cool it your geared to high. I thought fans were for the speedo?

Thats great but there are 2 problems:

1. It pulls 150 deg air from the track surface and blows it on somthing you are trying to cool.

2. The bottom of the chassis is a low pressure area so nothing ever blows up through holes in the chassis.

Classis holes are mainly for lightening and looks.

Considering threaded shock bodies have been around since 82-83, I don't think you could call that innovative
