First R/C was A Grasshopper. Then came a Super Champ and a Ford F150. Bought myself a Gold pan RC10 with bronze bushings cause I couldn't afford the one with real bearings. Sold it. Bought another one a couple years later with bearings. Then I bought a Kyosho Assault that I never could get to run right. Sold it. Then bought an Optima Mid SE. Gave it away. Got out of R/C for maybe 10 years. Bought an RC18T then a REVO 2.5, then another REVO 3.3. Built a crawler out of a TLT with a SW2 chassis. Wanted to get into racing so I got a XXXT MF2. Now just a couple of weeks ago I bought a TEN SCTE.

My first car was a Tamiya Subaru Brat that my brother bought me for Christmas. Shortly after he had bought a used Wild Willy that sparked my interest in r/c. As I started racing I was told the Brat didnt fall into a class, it wasnt a buggy or a truck. So I bought Tamiya Blackfoot parts and made into a truck. I see that Tamiya has released updated versions of the kit now, I will have one again!

my dad had a grasshopper that he let me run when I was a kid. Cant remember how old I was but I was young (now 28). Now when he comes over I let him take his pick at driving my fleet!

Tamiya TT-01 Coppermix Silvia w/ headlights and tail lights. Bought it shortly after getting laid off because I was bored out of my mind while looking for work in my field. Then I bought an SC10 from a local racer who encouraged me to come out and race the tt-01 in the local club's stock tt-01 chassis class, and ever since then I've been hooked.

1st was the Frog, then a hornet. We built a great track in the back yard and next thing you know there were about 12-15 of us racing all the time back in the early - mid 80's. Eventually everyone switched to the RC10, then we all found girls.........
Now I am running dirt oval with a Hyperdrive Havoc 2.1 and trying of road for the first time with a FT SC10.

Me too!! Except it was my brothers. My first car was a MRP Pro-110 which was a total piece of junk. I spend more time fixing than I did running. Next car was a Kyosho Aero Streak and it was much more reliable.
