If they raced it on the carpet, this rain stuff wouldn't be a problem...

it looks from the pictures on radio control zone that hara is using the moore*speed body shell?

so like rocco mentioned... what happens with the tires if they have to run in the rain tomorrow? with the weather this is shaping up to be a lack luster worlds... sounds like they should ran the ISTC worlds earlier when everyone was said to be dying in the heat from the outdoor pits of the 1/12 worlds!

i was really hoping to see some exciting action from qualifying this morning... oh well.

p.s. i know all the other cars are shiny, and red/blue/green/purple anodized... but somebody snap a few pics of the xray pits???

No Hara is using the Yokomo Dodge Stratus Type E! Same Bodyshell as Masami! This bodyshell gives more steering then the Mazda 6!

Anyone notice that it rained last year at the off-road worlds which were held at the same track? It was dry for 4wd just like it was for 1/12th but right before 2wd it started raining just like whats happening with ISTC.

Time to ask a question to anyone there that reads this..........

If Round one was abandoned does that mean ALL 90 drivers that have already run get a replacment set of tires?

We all know new tires are faster and since round one wont be completed that means heat 10-15 still have their 1st new set not used.....so that would mean with a controlled number of tires that the people would have an advantage that havent run yet(heats 10-15)....And with qual point we all know how new tires work....

Just a question not trying to start anything(actually making a point)

Thanks,

Barry

i was wondering the same thing, and since they seated the heats based on the drivers practice times according to the orion website.... this could get interesting.

they either need to give those drivers that ran already a new set, or make every driver that hasnt run already turn in a set... it would only be fair.

Would love to be there......But to tell you the truth I am actually enjoying being at home right now...I have plenty of stuff to take care of....MY hand is healing great....I will be back racing the next race(maybe even the Sizzler)....I do miss not being there(as any competitive person would)....

But the time at home has given me alot of time to think of my future and things I will have to take care of soon...
