That's not Super GT, that's 8th scale GT. Not as many bodies available for that scale. You can find a lot of good bodies in the RCGT thread, but I'm all about promoting Super GT so I'll contribute

Here are my past couple bodies for Super GT, a Takata Dome NSX and EBBRO Maziora 350R.

10th scale 4WD (Super GT "Plus" is a variation that includes the Tamiya FF03 FWD cars). It's kind taking over for RCGT, which has pretty much failed in SoCal due to the usual reasons of people making it too competitive and the introduction of timing boost. We slowed down the motors to 21.5 and outlawed timing boost on the speed controller...we also use a different spec tire than the HPI X-Patterns (Solaris hard premount slicks).

It's a really fun class for guys who like close and more scale-realistic racing and it's more attractive for newcomers to on-road, due to the more reasonable speeds and realistic bodies. It's been gaining traction pretty quickly, we're all hoping it continues to grow as a gateway for new people to get involved in on-road racing.

Why do the 1/8 scale cars look to have a wheelbase that is off? It looks too short compared to the real car.

Because car makers cannot afford to create another product line, and no one wants to be the first to burn lots of money into the unknown future.

This is how we run Super GT here in Japan. Only Super GT Bodies painted the correct colors with LEDS.Its a little different than what you are doing but I think its about the same idea.

Currently I am using the Corolla body from Tamiya. Its not pictured here but you can see my old Supra.
