Joe, I want to try narrowing the brush like you said. Approxmiately how much diameter should a guy take off of the brush? .010? .020? It sounds like drilling a hole would be the easiest for me, is there a particular size drill bit you would suggest? As always thanks for being so helpful online answering questions! We are getting pumped for the nats!

jkerr0043- Both brushes. I have been to RC Heat once, the weekend before the Reedy Race. Definitely run hard springs and sprint brushes with the timing at the third line. Good Luck!

modifides= 5mm armature blank w/ enduro brushes
tourings= 4mm armature blank w/enduro brushes
surikarn/hara/spashett=4mm armature blank w/sprint brushes
all motors come with med/hard springs
speedxl try a 7.8 ratio to start then adjust accordingly

Where ever I can If there's a local parkinglot race I'll try and run there but I race a lot at the RC Heat parking lot races. I'll run at La Mirada from time to time. I can't really afford to do too much traveling but I do what I can. I don't run at SoCal very often at all. That track and I don't get along at all. I also run offroad at a small off road track at Family Hobbies about 5 minutes from my house.
