Joe, I want to try narrowing the brush like you said. Approxmiately how much diameter should a guy take off of the brush? .010? .020? It sounds like drilling a hole would be the easiest for me, is there a particular size drill bit you would suggest? As always thanks for being so helpful online answering questions! We are getting pumped for the nats!

Would you be doing this in both brushes or just one side? I just got in a 10x2 Surikarn Ed. (RC Heat slapped us with a 10 turn limit) would you suggest heavy springs and sprint brushes for a Tamiya type/size layout?

racer oZ-I would narrow the brush .30mm

jkerr0043- Both brushes. I have been to RC Heat once, the weekend before the Reedy Race. Definitely run hard springs and sprint brushes with the timing at the third line. Good Luck!

Joe- Do the Surikarn Ed. motors come with sprints in them? I thought I read that somewhere but I wasen't sure. I'm pretty sure it's got med springs.

Good point. But if you can make run time with more motor, why not.

Where ever I can If there's a local parkinglot race I'll try and run there but I race a lot at the RC Heat parking lot races. I'll run at La Mirada from time to time. I can't really afford to do too much traveling but I do what I can. I don't run at SoCal very often at all. That track and I don't get along at all. I also run offroad at a small off road track at Family Hobbies about 5 minutes from my house.
