That sounds very good. So my guess was right about where the sensor wire was. Are we going to see a line of KO Propo motors as well? Will KO Propo offer a sensoreless model in the future as well?

They did a good job of hiding the sensor plug . That helps with size and all.

So now that we know it's sensored, what unique features does this have to warrant a $300 plus pricetag?

luntach- I believe that we will leave the motors to the motor manufactures.

jla8874- Full tuning option of KO's patented VFS (variable frequency system) technology plus other setting.

Thanks for the answer KO Staff. One other question for you though, and its about your "industrial design". Is KO purposely going for a retro look or what? That new EX-1 UR looks more suited to 1988 than 2008.

Butter- Getting ready to leave for the Reedy Race. If you go, I'm sure I know where you'll be. SF?

jla8874- KO brought back the EX-1 design due to demand. FYI the design has been around longer then 1988.

Are you going to be here everyday answering questions KO Staff? If you are, maybe we need to start just a KO thread in general for all KO related questions. Im an Airtronics person myself, but if I come to find that KO is another customer friendly company, you might just win me over. I have been thinking seriously about trying out the Esprit sticks loaded up with some of that KO 2.4 action when it gets here.

I try to answer when I can and I try to check the boards everyday. The best way to get questions answered would be to email me at [email protected].

I thought that was funny too. I'll reserve judgment until its out, but something tells me if they're pricing it 1 1/2 times higher than anything else on the market then KO is supremely confident that its going to perform.
