Some new info:
Ko-Propo has released some official information about their first brushless electric speed controller. The VFS-1 BMC was already spotted at the Toy Fair in Germany, but no information about the specifications was given by Ko-Propo.
Ko-Propo Japan has says that the new ESC will have an max. rated current of 3120A and a continuous rated current of 780A. The size of the VFS-1 BMC will be 33.4 × 37.0 × 16.8 (mm) and it will weigh 30.8g (without the wires and the fan). It will be able to run on Ni-cd, NI-MH and LI-PO batteries. The VFS-1 BMC will have a motor limit of 4.5T. Ko-Propo will release a 'Words Specification Kit' for this ESC. The kit will contain a fan and a heat sink which will reduce the heat and will give an motor limit of 2.5T.
The VFS-1 BMC (No.40050) will come out this summer and will cost around €200 euros (¥31500 Yen). The 'Words Specification Kit' (No.45521) will cost around €15 euros (¥2100 Yen).

The 80's called, they want their style back!
I'm sorry, but those just dont look like electronics that are coming out in 2008.
Am I wrong about this?

Tech Master
crap, now I have to debate whether I should wait for this or get a speedpassion setup.

I think Ko-Propo is going retro, and I like it . I always preferred the looks of the KO Mars over the Helios.
Greetings Victor
PS: @redbones: I've got the SpeedPassion GT and it's great!

I heard these things were going to be tiny. 33x34mm is pretty small, but I was expecting smaller. Where does the sensor harness plug in? With the fan and heatsink(Worlds Kit), $334.00.

Not sensored???? Who is going to buy a $334 sensorless speedo? What kind of motor would you even run with it, Castle? So you're saying Hara was competing with sensorless motors?
#14
I don't Hara was running one of these, it was Shin Adachi
#15
Shin, thats who I meant. You get the point though,(insert name of professional racer here) was using a sensorless to compete?
