This must be custom work done by Marc's mechanics as you can see 2 new holes tapped into the shock tower mount. They must of sanded off the bottom of the shock tower, drilled 2 new holes through the shock tower mount, tapped it and bolted it on.
The retail version still mounts the shock tower at the same location as the SMJ CX11

My buddy who went to the Reedy said they couldn't get over 5mm ride height with the amount of droop he wanted.

There is always certain things to be bought after fact but.... Shock towers or shocks to be one of the first changes would be sad indeed.

Just like any car there will be teething problems! Wait a month or so for the teething to stop aching.

The pros are always running prototype parts, some of these parts might just be for that race because it's all about the win. I think the car will perform very well out of the box for us non pros. I personaly do not buy a new kit when it's released for at least six months that way all the bugs get worked out and more set-ups are available.
