what do you use your r/c mainly? if its a basher a slash/stampede/revo would be great. the revo/slash would give you the option to branch into racing later if you wanted. the stampede would be the cheaper but go over almost anything in the end.

I strongly agree,Don't get a Traxxas product.
What are you going to be doing with the RC?

Racing?
Bashing?
Do you want something small or big and what is your overall budget.

I am out of the hobby so i havnt seen the slash in Action,So cant say if it is good or not.
If you are really a basher and love Traxxas try out the E-Revo if it is in your budget.

i have an electric Rustler XL-5 with about 6 spare motors, has the whole RPM treatment, upgraded steering servo and roller steering upgrade, CVDs, and RRP tranny gears and pinions.
