Well,

for what it's worth I sent Pro-Line customer service an e-mail expressing an intent to purchase 1/8 Buggy Slingshot paddle tires should they go back into production.

Beyond that sounds like it would be quite the effort to get a group purchase of 75 or more people together. I certainly don't have any in's with any vendors/retailers that might have the capital to order 250 tires. I've gone in on group purchases before but never ones requiring quite so many orders! Maybe just spread the word around on different forums for folks who may be interested to just inquire direct with Pro-Line and perhaps they will recognize if there truly is enough demand for a production run. For all we know maybe there really only is just two or three guys interested in these tires!

OK guys. I went back to my LHS and found more paddles.

dhauch contacted me last night and made a good deal for 2 pairs of paddles/shipping/ and my time for getting them.

I have 3 other pairs of these tires.

They are still factory sealed in the package. I will post pictures later of them to make sure everything is cool.

Just shoot me a PM if your interested in some of these.

Do they still make the Truggy/Monster truck paddles? My LHS has some of those also.

These are really hard to find. I had trouble even on Yahoo looking them up. Ebays out of them. I have some.

I would rally the sand communities. There are bound to be quite a few that run 1/8 scale cars. Are you a member of GD.com? HUGE sand forum... I would start there if you are going to try to get a group order.

Talking Found a source!

I'm gonna try the ones from ebay seller 'okey100c' on my AE Rc8BE and will report back... look a bit narrow but are 1/8 scale with 17mm hex. Disregard the 18mm heading I think as must be wrong...he mentions they are 17mm in the description. Price is for a pair mounted and glued to rims. Paddles are hilarious fun at the beach. Been having a ball with my 3s brushless Losi mini t with paddles. The thing is berserk and until I come across a beach greyhound, I'm feeling safe...
