any tire can be narrowed, just cut a strip out of the middle (add it in the rear if you want some fatties in back). narrow any rim just cut the inner "lip" off. they work pretty well on the track in addition to looking right.
And that is half the appeal to me, looks like a buggy.

This is cool. I have nothing against the other SCB options, but it's nice that Associated is coming out with one.

I love the realistic look. But will this hurt the 2wd buggy class. All the tracks I been 2 to this summer here in ohio, I have seen 2wd buggy deminished. It seems e8, 4wd corr, and 2wd corr been popular. But rarely seen 2wd buggy or stadium show. I do think with these buggys it will be easier to run on a 8th scale tracks, better stability.

that is just you. out west 2wd buggy is alive and kicking. SC is fad and will probably tapper off. But i said the same thing about the RC10T, lol. But I was correct about the TMAXX racing scene, lol. I and 1 for 2, hoping for 2 for, lol. 8th ebuggy is interesting to me, but it has almost no representation here. even at nats it was a token class. The SCB probably wont make it unless there is a major shift, but it will be a great car for my kid to race and bash. So I am looking forward to it.

I don't think this sc10b and the rest of the scb's were meant to take over and phase out the 2wd b4.1's and tlr 22's,both are a class of their own.I recently sold my sc and got into the 2wd buggy's and love the planted feel and responsiveness the provide and after driving it for a while now the sc's do nothing for me,they can be fast but just loud and clunky bodies and not for me anymore.I recently drove a friends losi scb and it felt pretty cool to wheel around and thought about getting one for myself until this ae sc10b showed up.I'm all over it.

Meh, what parts will people "barrow" from this to update their SC10. I like the front skid and bumper in lieu of the stock SC10. Front arms look interesting, lower CG suspension setup maybe?

No interest in this car other than that for me.
