Crap.

Just when he was going to tell me what the Power Trix devices are.

Heart Attack?

Maybe there is something to the warning labels on motors, about them being bad for your health....

RIP Jim. Enjoy the big track in the sky...

Rest in peace Big Jim

I was surfing on another forum and here is one of his posts from 6-11-05 as to what was going on with him this past week.

Posted on 6-11-05
I hurt my back working on my car again and haven't done much of anything in 3 days. Of course, customers have been unsympathetic with their emails saying, "Hey, where's my $8.95 bottle of TRIBO".

The biggest problem I'm having to deal with just happened today. My landlord just informed me that I have two months to find another place to live because he doesn't like "manufacturing" going on in his residential building. The SOB knew what I've been doing for 4 years now. And there have been no complaints that I am aware of certainly not from my roommate. Life's a bitch and then you die. This is really going to mess up my production schedule.

As you might expect, I'm not in a real good mood.

Wow! Thank you for that view into Jim's perspective.

And this hobby is supposed to be fun...However, the business side is not all roses...

This is truley a sad event for the R/C community. Jim will be missed.

Is there any idea on what is going to happen with all of the pending orders that he was in the process of filling. I am one of the many who were waiting for orders to be filled. I know this in not top priority but will refunds be avaliable?

He will sorely be missed.

I am glad I got to meet him and was looking forward to seeing him again this year.

What a sad time.

His family will be in our prayers.

Sitting here at a loss of really what to say and feel. Whether this is business, Sport. pleasure or whatever you feel this hobby is to you we are still one big family and friends in this Sport of rc racing. What can you say other than he is the man at motors, and always willing ot answer questions. Just another reason when you wake up or go to bed make sure you kiss your little ones and make sure they know you love them.

Jim,

May you rest in peace and keep winding those motors up there in Heaven where we all know there is a track and a nice motor shop for you.

Sincerely,

David Gullickson

Maybe not, but I meen no disrespect by it. I just wanted to put the question out there since it pertains to many others. I know what Jim's family and friends are going through. I myself recently lost both my grandparents within 7 days of each other. The loss of a loved one is terrible. I'm not looking for an imediate answer, just putting it out there. Again I meen no disrespect towards Jim or his family by it. He was a true pioneer and will be greatly missed bt all.

The business side is not always roses!!!

Tazz I am sure something will be done for your order or refund. Personally if it were my order I would let the money go towards his family to help pay for the funural. Just my opinion.
