I've seen the prototypes. Very nicely made car and super quick too.

Not cheap, but everything in the kit is top spec and no hop ups are needed.

Default vdezign costs

In the Uk this costs 320 euros delivered, but has every hop up known to man.

I'd like one but as I haven't run my CR4 it'll have to wait a while

What parts if any would you need to fit the CR4 to bring it up to same spec as the CR-V?

I ask v-dezign the same question

v4 and v5 are very different the chassis is massively different, the rear pod in v4 is same geometry but slight difference in construction

The chassis is now longer yet thinner

Hi guys,

From CR 4.0 following parts are compatible for CR V:
- bumper plate
- tubes
- cross brace standoffs

Versions coming after CR V will have again option to be upgraded with minimum qty parts to the latest one. The reason for many changes in pods and some other parts is to get pods optimized for current lipo racing and to get them for better for "mass production".

Spares will be available well during the season of course, complete kits will just be a limited edition and according to kits ordered with some extras of course.

Rear end is re-designed as motor is a bit more to right and motor pods are also new. Later this year there will be an upgrade kit for CR 4.0 users for needed alum and graphite parts which will be announce later on after complete kits are available in october.

Pre-orders are taken in still for few days to get all to the list of limited edition of complete kits (delivered in october). Act fast if you wanna to get yours!

my email is at the website www.v-dezign.net

There will be more news and updates on the website in couple of weeks.

@Blue Screw:

tubes will fit as they are but it just needs a new cross brace and top plate for the pod. If lots of interest is shown for those, maybe there will be a conversion.
