yep that appears to be the one I read about. I really like my current STS .28 but on the long straight at my local track it has a hard time competing with most other engines. I have the 7mm carb insert in so I'm sure that some to do with it.

That is indeed the engine I'm talking about... We should be getting them this month.

Next time I race I'm going to try a 14 tooth clutch bell. I originally had a 13 tooth clutch bell on it then I went down to a 12 tooth to get better throttle response for the close spaced jumps. Our front straight is 160 feet but we have alot of jumps.

That looks like a very nice engine. any idea on the price it will cost? And will it come with a roto start?

as far as i know, the engine doesn't even have a name yet. BUT... its rumored to ONLY be selling with a standard backplate. Price is unknown at this time. But I'll definitely be finding out sometime soon

Anyone knows the product code of the neu .28 engine ?

How you think this engine would perform on Truggies ?, how the actual .28 does on truggies ?

thanks,

last time i checked, it was not out to the public yet. it is, however, being tested by a few drivers here in the states.

ah yes... they are finally making their debut on my site! the new D28M 5-Port Competition Race Engine. These things should start becoming more and more popular in the next 2-3 weeks.

Did you take the conrod off also? if not just point the oil hole towards front of engine. Normally the longer side of the piston "skirt" goes to the rear to cover the exhaust port during TDC.
