What is the benefit to using different rotor sizes?, what difference is there to using a small diameter to using a larger diameter rotor?.

not really because you will most likely generate a very hot motor. there is usually only a benefit with having a large rotor on a small track where power is useful!! something to think about is with spec motors novak run a 12.2 mil rotor and everyone else runs a 12.5 and these motors usually are fast on less gearing and don't run as hot either.

So wouldn't a smaller diameter be better for bigger tracks ?
