I hv got a TC3 without droop screws, still using the shock limiters.

Can I convert the arms to use droop screws? Buy the Ver2 arms?
Any ggod ideas to go about it?

Thanks for any help
Cheers
all you need is the Ver2 arms and a new style chassis.

The droop screws on the ver2 arms will barely catch the side of the older chassis but it will work.

Fastrax millennium FTTC08 if you get it replace the plastic bushings i think or plastic washers as they fall appart after 1 race with all the original parts of the std steering rack. Then its sweet run bearings then u will be laffing

for some reason......my t3 has been making weird noises..i think its the gearing between teh spur and the motor...but when i roll the car.....it makes a weird clicking noise.....not like a regular diff gear noise.. why is this?

its hard to say with out having the car in front of me but check and make sure you have proper gear mesh between the spur and pinion and make sure thier are no small rocks in the teeth of each of the gears if all that is set good move on the the diffs, i would take all the cvds out and put in an outdrive at a time and spin it so you can pinpoint the problem more accuratly! hope this helps

Rc Guru check you Cvd's the pins are probably rubbing against the C huds, also check your gear mesh, it could be a combination of both

kh15, yes the diff cases strip very easily in my opinion, you have to be careful all the time with them, i find myself puttin dabs of CA glue on the screws before i put them in alot after i strip them

with those diff cases.......use the long end of the allen wrench....and turn it only as far as it can go...maybe just a little less...thats how you dont strip em.

THANKS for the advice guyz....maybe ill just go into the diff right away since its raining here....erg...so hard to take the damn diff out..lol its alot harder then my team losi xxx bk...yeh i checked my gear mesh..some reason it keep getting loose? hmm...i think its time the screw meet mr.locktite

Hi Guys,

Got some noob questions regarding the Droop settings if one could help:

1. Any difference in handling for the car with Shock limiters and droop screws on arms? (besides easier to adjust)

2. Wats the droop measurement on the standard shock limiter setting?

3. Are the AE droop gauge (measurement) different from the common ones like tamiya, integy etc...

Thanks Y'all !!

If you go to associated's website they have TC# setup sheets posted. Barry Baker's trackside setup is a good starting point for rubber tires. on carpet.

If your looking for a foam setup, take a look at Mike Blackstocks setups.
